?How do I align text inside columns?
Click the alignment button on top of any column header to toggle between Left, Center, and Right alignment. The generator will automatically adjust the dashed header separator row (`:---`, `:---:`, `---:`).
?Can I paste an existing Markdown table to edit it?
Yes! Click the 'Import' button, paste your existing Markdown table code into the dialog, and it will be loaded into the visual grid.
?Is there a limit on the number of rows or columns?
No, there are no hard limits. You can build tables of any size, though very large tables might be harder to read in mobile viewports.
?Does this tool support cell merging (colspan or rowspan)?
Standard Markdown tables do not support cell merging or row joining. To maintain compatibility with GitHub and basic markdown compilers, this tool generates standard flat rectangular grids.
?Can I copy data from Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Copy your spreadsheet cells, paste them into our CSV input field (which handles tab-separated values), and click import to load them.
